Sundeep Kishan Mahesh Movie Review

Sundeep Kishan who debuted with SNEHA GEETHAM has impressed with his stunning performance in PRASTHANAM, though the movie didn’t farewell, his acting was highly appreciated.

He has been trying his luck to establish him as a full-time hero but nothing is working out in his favor, though his film as hero ROUTINE LOVE STORY ran well, next film GUNDELLO GODAARI put him down again. The hero now comes with a Tamil dubbed movie MAHESH; let’s see how it fares well at BO.

Shiva (Sundeep) is aimless college guy who accompanied by guy Vasanth (Jagan) of same attitude and spends life without any focus and responsibility. He comes across Sandhya (Dimple) and falls in love with her and she too falls in love with him in the process and both gets closer to each other and Dimple turns pregnant. They both happily get married but the story takes a twist when Shiva starts doubting he may not be the real father and there’s other guy called MAHESH and he starts out a mission to find out who MAHESH is and rest of the story is who is Mahesh and how he is related to the story.

Sundeep Kishan has good looks and personality, he is alright in many scenes but is unable to carry the comedy and emotional scenes with ease.

Dimple is good at performance and has got a very big sex appeal in her.

Jagan who acted as Sundeep’s friend is hilarious and entertained all the way and dubbing given by Dhanraj is just perfect.

Rest of the cast has done their job and they are just ok.

Sundeep Kishan and Jagan’s performance
Weak Direction
Second half
Pace of the movie

There was time from early 90s to early 2000s where Tamil dubbed films dominated Tollywood, but the scene has changed now and hardly have we seen any Tamil dubbed movie turning a hit here, the same case with this movie too.

The movie’s story is bit impractical and has to be dealt in a humorous way and there’s scope for ample entertainment but the director failed to extract the comedy from the second half as the comedy dips in the later half and the director failed to explain why the heroine comes up with the idea of using Mahesh’s name. Climax is very weak and gives the feeling of watching a B grade Malayali movie.

Final Say:
Can be purely ignored.
