Nagarjuna Bhai Movie latest Review

Nagarjuna who never gets tired of trying different genres and giving chances to upcoming directors has given one more chance upcoming director Veerabhdram Chowdhary. The hero hasn’t had a good commercial hit ever since KING and hence he made sure to add the required entertainment in this movie. Let’s see how the movie fares well at BO.

Story:
David (Ashish Vidyarthi) is a don of a mafia empire in Bangkok lives along with his sons Sonu Soon and Ajay along with his right hand Bhai (Nagarjuna). His empire is spread all across and the trouble starts when his men gets hunted and killed by an honest cop Prasanna. David sends Bhai to Hyderabad to get rid of the Police officer. Nagarjuna lands in Hyderabad and in the process of eliminating Prasanna, he meets Radhika (Richa) as a part of his plan but falls in love with her.

The time comes to eliminate Prasanna and Nagarjuna comes to know a shocking truth that he is his own brother who got separated in childhood. What happens next and why the brothers got separated forms the rest of the story.

Performances:
Nagajuna is stylish as usual but his energy levels seem to have come down a bit in few scenes and there’s no reason why he smiles in most of the scenes. It’s high time Nagarjuna realizes that he should do the movies that suit his age and can’t be a lover boy any more, his dance movements in the movie are just not good.

Richa Gangopadhyay has got the role of a female and it’s the first time she was seen as a solo heroine. But, she has nothing much to offer in the movie except for songs and few scenes.

Ashish Vidyarthi though has done the monotonous role; he is quite apt for it. Sonu Sood is wasted and so is Ajay. MS Narayana, Brhamanandam and Raghu Babu evoked little laughter. Venela Kishore is waste; Kamna Jethmalani doesn’t have any role to perform. Prasanna, Zara Shah, Nagineedu, Rahul Dev had brief roles.

Item songs by Nathalia Kaur and Hamsa Nandini are ok.
Though music is good, the visualization of songs is not up to the mark

Analysis:
The story is quite old and predictable and the suspense gets revealed at the interval episode itself. There’s nothing new to expect from this and does not have a rib-tickling comedy as well. The movie got released at wrong time when the state is flooded with heavy rains and protests all over.

Highlights:
Production values
Drawbacks:
Ineffective screenplay
No emotional depth
Unwanted romantic track
Outdated comedy

Final Say:
However, the movie might get good openings, but in the long run, it’s difficult to sustain and Nagarjuna adds up one more flop in his career.
