Mass Maharaja Raviteja is struggling for a hit since the past 2 years and has pinned all his hopes on BALUPU and hasn’t signed any movie yet, this is his first release this year, and the movie is directed by Gopichand Malineni of DON SEENU fame. Let’s have a look into the story and the film’s fate at BO.

Story:
Ravi (Raviteja) and his father Mohan Rao who works as a recovery agent (Prakash Raj) lives in Bangalore. Shruthi (Shruthi Hasan) gets engaged to Rohit (Advi Sesh), as there is very short time of just 2 weeks for marriage, Shruthi along with his uncle Mohan (Brahmanandam) decides to enjoy those 2 weeks, in the meanwhile they play love game with some guys and fool them.

In the process, Ravi’s friend becomes prey to Shruthi’s game and in turn the hero decides to teach a lesson to Shruthi and makes her fall in love with him, but, both fall in love with each other, the Rohit comes to know about their love and makes his uncle Vizag Purna (Ashutosh Rana) involve to separate Shruthi and Ravi but parents from both the sides fix their engagement. Vizag Purna comes to Ravi’s house to cancel the engagement and gets shocked on seeing Mohan (Prakash Raj).

Why did Vizag Purna get shocked on seeing Mohan and what is the story between them, what is Anjali’s role in the movie and did Ravi and Shruthi get married in the end. The rest of the story is best to be watched on screen.

Performances:
Raviteja is back to his trademark acting and delivered superb performance in two various shades. Shruthi has good scope to perform and her comedy scenes with Brahmanandam is the highlight for the film, Anjali had good role and she delivered another good performance, Prakash Raj, Advi Sesh, Ashutosh Rana did their best in the given roles. Brahmandam who is on the best form of his life, rocks again in this movie.

Analysis:
Though the movie doesn’t have novelty, the director Gopichand handled the script very well, made the story interesting and never gets a feel of boredom in the entire run. Editing is good, Cinematography is also good, but, music disappoints, except for 1 or 2 songs, the music by Thaman is very mediocre.

Final Say:
This movie is definitely a morale booster for Raviteja who is going through a long lean patch, this is a perfect Raviteja mark entertainment film, and you can definitely watch it.
